Aftershoot is a non-destructive culling system so your files will all still exist at the location they were imported from.

Aftershoot uses sidecar files called XMP files to add Star and Color ratings to your images which are then read by your editing software.

You can delete the XMP files from the folders to remove any ratings or stars added by Aftershoot.

Note: For JPEGs, the star and color information is added directly to the JPEG metadata of the original images and not the sidecar XMP files.
