There is more than one way to review culled images in Aftershoot. People Filter is the perfect tool for reviewing shoots with multiple subjects.
â
Once your cull is finished, look at the top of the screen and click on the People tab.
A window will appear with all the faces that Aftershoot found in your album. The number under the face shows the total number of images with this subject.
If another filter is applied, like Selected, for example, the people filter will change the count based on that.
So, for example, there are 400 total images of a subject. With Selected applied, the people filter will show that there are 100 images with this subject that are Selected.
If you hover your cursor over the subjectâs face, you will see a tooltip. It will show the number of images with this face with the filter applied, as well as the total number of images.
Click on a face to display the images with this subject.
Multiple faces can be selected to display the images where these subjects are present.
You have two choices when it comes to which images with multiple selected faces to display. The tab in the upper right corner of the window can be set to either At least one or Everyone.
At least one will display images where at least one of the selected subjects is present. If you selected 3 faces, and an image has only 2 of them present, it will be displayed.
Everyone will only display images where every selected subject is present. If you selected 3 faces, only the images that have all 3 subjects will be displayed.
If youâre not seeing all the subjects present at the shoot, click on View all in the lower right corner to extend the window.
Next, just scroll through all the faces to find the subjects youâre looking for. Once theyâre selected, just click on the Apply Filters button.
If you want to deselect the faces and see all the images in the album again, open the People Filter and click on Clear all.
