Creating Galleries and Sets

In this article, we will cover how to create a Client Gallery by uploading images into an album and splitting them up into sets.

But first, let’s cover what the difference is between a Client Gallery, an Album, and a Set. A Client Gallery is the finished product of your work that you deliver to your client. An Album is where you’ll upload all your images from a specific shoot. All Albums have at least one Set inside them. By default, when you first upload your images and videos into a new Album, they are placed in a Set called Highlights. You can create separate Sets for dedicated moments from a shoot, so your clients can navigate their gallery more comfortably.

How to Create a New Album

  1. Start New Project
Click the Create Album button in the top-right corner of the screen. Albums are where you will upload all your images from a shoot.

  2. Name Your Album
In the Set up your album pop-up, enter your project name in the Album name field.

  1. Enable Store (Optional)
If you wish to sell prints, toggle the Store switch to the On position. Note that you may be prompted to Link Payment Method if it’s the first time you’re turning this option on.

  2. Finalize
Click Create to finish creating your album.

  3. View Your Gallery
Once you’re done uploading your images, click on the View Gallery button (play icon) in the top-right corner of the screen and review the final result.

How to Create and Populate Sets

Sets allow you to categorize photos and videos within an album, for example, separate Sets for the Ceremony and Reception of a wedding.

1. Add a Set
Click the + New Set button located at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar.

2. Define Set Details
In the New Photo Set pop-up:

  • Enter a Name for the set.

  • Add an optional Description if needed.

  • Click Create.

3. Upload Media
Click the + icon next to the set name or use the central upload area.

  • Drag and drop your JPEG, PNG, or Video files directly into the window, or click Browse files to select them from your computer.

You can track their upload status of images and videos through the blue progress bars under their respective thumbnails in the sidebar.
