For Aftershoot to deliver the best results and optimal performance, your NVIDIA graphics drivers need to be up-to-date.
Below, we’ll go over the update process and walk through every step.
Note: If you already have the official NVIDIA app installed on your system, make sure the Aftershoot app is closed and jump straight to Step 4.
Step 1. If you’re reading this article, you’ve probably encountered this warning while using Aftershoot. The first thing you need to do now is ensure the Aftershoot app is closed before proceeding.
Step 2. Go to this link and download the NVIDIA app.
Step 3. Once you’ve downloaded the .exe file, launch it and install the NVIDIA app by following the onscreen prompts. If the app asks for permissions, click Yes.
Step 4. With the NVIDIA app installed, launch it, and look for the Drivers tab in the left-hand drawer. In it, look for and select Game Ready Driver, after which click on the Install button.
Step 5. Proceed with the install. Select Express Installation and click on Continue.
Wait for the install to complete and click on Close.
With this the driver update is complete. You can also take care of future updates with this little Aftershoot Pro Tip. Go back into your NVIDIA app and look for the Settings tab in the left-hand drawer.
Here, under Drivers, look for auto-downloads and enable its toggle, so you don’t have to worry about drivers in the future.
And that’s it, you can go ahead and start Aftershoot - this should solve the warning you received. If you have any questions or issues, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at [email protected] or through in-app support!
