The Maybe Filter Group can feel like an afterthought sometimes, but it has some sneaky uses that your workflow can benefit from.
That is true in general, but especially when you set our Cull-to-Target slider at low percentages. So let’s take a look at two possible workflows.
Workflow #1
Let’s say you imported 1000 images and set the slider to 10%, to receive 100 of them in the Selected Filter Group.
Once the AI is done, you can go through the 100 images in Selected and be done with it. You could also click on the checkbox next to the Maybe Filter Group and display the images that the AI thought were second best.
You may find some unexpected gems here, and if not, that’s okay. Just export your selected images without a second thought.
Workflow #2
Now let’s imagine a scenario where you have 1000 images, but want around 250. You can set the Cull-to-Target slider to 20%, and the AI will select the best 200 images for you.
What about the other 50, you ask? Take a look inside the Maybe Filter Group and see what the AI put there. You can quickly swipe through the Maybe images and simply mark the ones you like as Selected.
This way, you have 200 images which are the best of the best and can easily choose the final 50, adding a personal touch to the overall selection.
