Culling Workflow with Maybes and CTT

Note: Cull to Target is a work-in-progress feature and is still in BETA.

There are two ways you can go about introducing Cull to Target and Maybes into your workflow,

Let’s say you imported 819 images and set the slider to 24%, to receive 200 of them in the Selected Filter Group.

Once the AI is done, you can go through the 200 images in Selected and be done with it. You could also click the checkbox next to the Maybe Filter Group to display the images the AI thought were second-best.

You may find some unexpected gems here, and if not, that’s okay. Just export your selected images without a second thought.

Now let’s imagine a scenario where you have 819 images, but want around 350. You can set the Cull to Target slider to 37%, and the AI will select the best 300 images for you.

What about the other 50, you ask? Take a look inside the Maybe Filter Group and see what the AI put there. You can quickly swipe through the Maybe images and simply mark the ones you like as Selected.

This way, you have 300 images that are the best of the best and can easily choose the final 50, adding a personal touch to the overall selection.
