Flags
How do I use the new Flags feature?
The same way you’d use the My Selections feature. Simply click on an image and press the D key shortcut. All imported images are in an Unflagged state by default, and once you Flag them, they’re placed into Flagged. Pressing the D key on a Flagged image will place it back into Unflagged.
What’s the difference between Flags and My Selections?
The main difference is that all the images are placed into Unfllagged by default. Besides that, you still use the D key to put the images you want into a separate group.
What will happen to the albums culled with My Selections?
Your older albums will only be affected by the fact that the images placed in My Selections will now be in Flagged.
Are Flags compatible with other Aftershoot features?
Very much so, in all the same ways, My Selections worked with other features. We particularly recommend combining Flags with Spray Can Mode.
Can I export my Flagged images?
Of course, just click on the Flagged filter group and then on the Export button.
Are Flags compatible with Lightroom?
Yes, the flags applied to the images in Aftershoot will be recognized by Lightroom after you export them.

What are the Accepted & Needs Review?
Filter Groups are now separated into two:
- Accepted, which includes Selected, Highlights, Maybe, and Warnings.
- Needs Review, which includes Duplicates, Blurred Images, Closed Eyes, and Unrated.
Can I review multiple Filter Groups at the same time?
Yes, just click on the checkbox next to the Filter Groups name and Aftershoot will display only the images inside them.
What is Unrated?
Aftershoot will place the images with no Star Rating and Color Label here.
What are Singles and Grouped?
Now you can review only images with duplicates and only images without duplicates if you wish to do so. Simply click the checkbox beside Singles to review only images without duplicates. Do the same for Grouped if you wish to review only images with Duplicates.
