How to Use Aftershoot Extreme Cull

You requested even more culling, so we’ve risen to the occasion! Introducing the powerful Extreme Cull, perfect to size down your album with maximal culling.

As part of an Automated AI Cull, you can configure the amount of photos you want AI to select for you. This is where you can set Extreme Cull to stun!

Typical Use Cases

Extreme Cull works best for photographers who overshoot or have large album sizes. Extreme Cull filters out photos to the T.

Guided Walkthrough

Step 1: Upload an Album to the Aftershoot Home screen. Choose an Album Name and select a shoot type. Then click on Next.

Step 2: Go to the Cull Tab and click on Start Culling.

Step 3: You will be asked to set Cull Preferences at this point. Select Automated AI Culling.

Step 4: Next to the text that reads Amount of Selected photos, move the slider to Extreme.

Step 5: Click on Start Culling.

That’s it! You will be notified on-screen and by email once your album has been culled.

The Maybe Filter

Photos selected from Extreme Cull are assigned to the Maybe filter. The images here are those that the AI thinks might have the potential to be good, but leaves the decision up to the user. The best images will always be classified into Selections.

Note: Highlights will no longer be a part of Extreme Cull.
