ii. have set up a custom profile or downloaded one from the marketplace
3. Is this feature included in my plan?
a. One-Click Cull & Edit is accessible to all users who meet the usage criteria stated above.
4. Why is assisted culling not allowed?
a. Since One-Click Cull & Edit leverages smart automation to save the user time, combining the two key processes of culling & editing. Since assisted culling requires manual intervention from your end, its use is restricted here. However, you can still perform an Assisted AI Cull directly from the Cull tab.
5. How does One-Click Cull & Edit work?
a. You will see a One-Click Magic banner on the Import screen. By clicking Try Now, you can access this feature.
6. What file formats are supported for One-Click Cull & Edit?
a. Aftershoot’s One-Click Cull & Edit supports only RAW and JPEG files.
7. What are the culling options available in this feature?
a. One-Click offers two culling modes: Aftershoot AI Culling and Customized AI Cull. You can choose the best option based on the type of shoot and your preferences.
8. Which profiles will be available for editing?
a. Only downloaded profiles will be available for editing.
9. Will all the options under a normal cull or edit be available for One-Click Cull & Edit?
a. Other than AI-assisted culling, all other options for a normal cull or edit are also available for One-Click Cull & Edit.
10. Do I need to reconfigure my settings every time I use the feature?
a. No, you can save your culling and editing preferences for future sessions, eliminating the need to reconfigure settings each time. Simply check the box in the upper-right corner of the settings window before proceeding.
11. How long will it take to cull and edit my album?
a. This depends primarily on the size of the album and the processing speed of your computer. The total time taken by One-Click includes both culling and editing, so you don’t have to revisit your computer for editing separately.
12. Once done, are there any changes to the culling & editing workflows?
a. No, there are no changes to the workflow. You can proceed to cull & edit your album.
13. What happens if there's an error during the culling or editing process?
a. If an error occurs during either culling or editing, a pop-up will be served with options to restart the process, contact support, or cancel and return to the import screen.
14. What happens if I don’t like the culled selections?
a. You can go to the Cull tab and make adjustments if you wish to make further culling changes.
15. Will the feature work for large projects or albums with many images?
a. Yes, if an album is already being processed, any new albums created will be placed in a queue, ensuring that all your projects are managed efficiently. There is no limit to the number of photos you can cull and edit with Aftershoot.
16. What happens if I accidentally select the wrong settings during the One-Click Cull and Edit?
a. You can review and modify your preferences before starting the process. On the preferences review screen, click on the Go Back button to adjust your culling or editing settings.
17. Can I track the progress of One-Click Cull & Edit?
a. Absolutely! An integrated dashboard with a progress bar shows the culling/editing stage of the project.
18. Are export options following the One-Click Cull & Edit process different?
a. No, export options remain the same.
19. How do I know when One-Click Cull & Edit is complete?
a. Aftershoot will send you an email notification once the culling process is finished, followed by another email when editing is complete. You can also track progress in the integrated dashboard.
