Hey, AfterShooters! We heard you loud and clear — speed matters, and we’ve delivered. One-Click Cull & Edit is Aftershoot’s latest superpower, combining two key processes, culling and editing, into one function. With a single touch, you can kickstart both operations and experience the magic of One-Click.

What’s new

The key benefit delivered by One-Click Cull & Edit is the seamlessness from start to finish. Once your preferences are set, you simply command Aftershoot to go in motion and do its culling + editing magic.

All preferences are set in a single window. This means you don’t have to review culling and editing separately anymore.

Once you hit the Start Cull & Edit button, you leave Aftershoot to take care of the rest. Say hello to smart culling and editing.

An integrated dashboard with a smart progress bar allows you to view culling and editing processes. This is complemented by email notifications to keep you to speed on your project.

Step 1: Get started by importing your images. Create a New Album from the Aftershoot home screen and set the Album Name and shoot type. Click on Try Now under the One-Click Magic banner.

Step 2: Select either Automated AI Culling or Customized AI Cull.

By default, Automated AI Culling will apply preferences based on the type of shoot you have selected.

You can also choose to perform a Customized AI cull, which will give you greater control over modifying preferences.

Click on Next to proceed.

Step 3: You will now be able to set your Editing preferences.

First, select your AI profile to activate your desired editing style. You can use a self-created AI profile if you wish. Note that only downloaded profiles will be visible. Also, select a color profile for consistent color application.

Second, configure settings for AI Cropping. To utilize this feature, switch on the toggle and choose between Loose or Aggressive crop settings, then select the image ratio that best suits your needs. Follow this with configuring your AI Masking settings.

Third, you can choose to apply automatic AI straightening and your LR preset. Simply push the associated toggles to do so.

Finally, select your filters to choose the photo groups you want to edit. You can also select or deselect all at once using the relevant options. You can do the same with camera selection.

Aftershoot recommends editing 100% of your culled album for best results.

Once complete, click on the Next Step button to proceed.

Step 4: You can now review your selected Culling and Editing preferences.

If you are ready to advance, click on Start Cull & Edit. Let the magic unleash!

Sit back and relax! Grab a coffee, prepare dinner, or take a well-deserved nap while Aftershoot weaves its magic behind the scenes. You can always return to view and track culling & editing progress.

Once complete, you can export your images to Lightroom, Capture One or a local folder on your system.

You can also click on Review Cull & Edit to see the output. This allows you to review your cull & edit results, and make any changes if necessary.

Note that you will also receive an email when your album culling is complete, followed by another one when the editing is complete.
